 AUTHENTIC OTTOMAN ARCHIVAL DOCUMENTS

In this Appendix we reproduce photographs of the seventy-one original Ottoman Archival Documents published in Chapter III.

In the footnotes listing the present location of each original document, we have used the following abbreviations:

BBA = Ba?bakanl?k Ar?ivi (Prime Minister’s Archives)
GBA = Genelkurmay Ba?kanl??? Ar?ivi (Archives of the Chief-of-Staff)

The documents are published in the same order, and with the same numbers, as in Chapter III.

Translator’s note: Scholars wishing to study the authentic Ottoman documents in Appendix II, may wish to refer to the Turkish edition of this work: Ermenilerce Talat Pa?a’ya Atfedilen Telgraflar?n Gerçek Yüzü, Ankara (Türk Tarih Kurumu), 1983, pp. 185-340, where, in addition to facsimiles of the original documents, transliterations of each into modern Turkish are provided.
